Jung for Witches

A three part exploration of the depth psychology of Carl Jung, curated for the witchy-minded seeker

November 5-19th, 8pm ET

The ancients devised magic to compel fate. They needed it to determine outer fate. We need it to determine inner fate and to find the way that we are unable to conceive.

— Carl Jung

Make your magic soulful & smart...

At some point in your spiritual journey you likely came across Carl Jung, maybe through one of his soul-shattering quotes, maybe through his mystifying theory of the archetypes.

And though you were deeply intrigued, cracking into the true depth of his work felt too intimidating, overwhelming, or abstract.

But for the witchy seeker (whether you wear the label of witch or not), Jungian psychology can profoundly open your inner world. It is truly the psychology of soul teaching you how to bridge the psyche and cosmos. And if you truly immerse yourself in it, it can transform your witchcraft into a practice of psycho-spiritual magic—the communion of your soul with the world soul.

What exactly is this series?

The Jung for Witches Seminar Series is a 3-part class illuminating the most crucial and transformative Jungian theories in a way you can truly understand, saving you countless spiraling hours and thousands of dense pages.

It guides you through Jungian wisdom and how it can awaken your own spiritual practice, so that your magic truly embraces your own psycho-spiritual depths.

Some of the topics we’ll cover include:

  • The foundations of Jungian psychology, including the Collective Unconscious, the archetypes, and the path of individuation

  • Clarifying some of the most important and misunderstood Jungian theories such as typology, complexes and shadow work.

  • Jungian perspectives on tarot and astrology

  • The psycho-philosophies of divination, synchronicity, paraspsychology, and mediumship

  • The occult studies of hermetic magic and alchemy and how they reflect the mystical journey toward wholeness

  • The archetype of the Witch as she appears in cultural shadow and her modern redemption

Plus, you can opt to join the complete series or sign up for just one.

The Seminars

SEMINAR 1: Tarot, Astrology, and the Collective Unconscious

In this first installment we’ll dive into the foundations of Jungian thought, breaking down the collective unconscious, the archetypes, and the strata of the psyche.

Then we’ll explore this knowledge through the magical realms of tarot and astrology, and discuss how to adapt the archetypal lens into your spiritual practice and witchcraft.

November 5th @8-9:30pm EDT

SEMINAR 2: Synchronicity, Divination & Parapsychology

In the second installment we’ll cover Jung’s theories on the more mystical side of things, exploring his study of psychic phenomenon and the psycho-spiritual processes of divination.

We’ll also dive into his theory of synchronicity, and take a deeper look at the philosophy of magic as a participation of psyche and matter—the inner world and the outer cosmos.

November 12th @8-9:30pm EST

SEMINAR 3: The Occult, the Craft and the Spiritual Witch

In the third and final installment we’ll enter Jung’s occult studies, surveying the secret psycho-spiritual wisdoms of hermeticism and alchemy. We will also discuss the archetypal Witch and her redemption from shadow into light.

We will close the series discussing the Jungian foundations of feminist spirituality, pulling it all together by building a framework for your witchcraft and deepening your magical practice.

November 19th @8-9:30pm EST

Meet your instructor...

Mariana Louis is a professional tarotist, writer, and archetypal educator based in New York City. Her journey with depth psychology and archetypes began with the discovery of a little book called The Undiscovered Self by Carl Jung in her grandfather’s attic library, which led her to the pivotal decision to pursue a master’s degree in Western Intellectual Traditions with a focus in archetypal theory.

Soon after Mariana launched Persephone’s Sister—a platform for psycho-spiritual education and tarot guidance, blending depth psychology, sacred feminism, and witchcraft.
