The Archetypal
Tarot School

A 9-Week Container of Psycho-spiritual Tarot Immersion
from February 20th - April 23rd

Does this sound like you?

The first time you pulled the High Priestess, or the Sun, or the Fool, you got that shiver. You knew you’d discovered something precious, something that would draw you into new realms of spiritual wonder.

But as you learned the meanings of the cards, reading book after book, or watching endless YouTube videos, you realized there was something deeper to be discovered, you just didn’t know how to get there.

Because you don’t use the tarot to tell you your future, or to give a client or a friend yet another exhausting reading about finding their soul mate.

You first got excited about the deep power of the cards because you are on a psycho-spiritual journey of wholeness. You are seeking to know yourself and the archetypal mysteries of life.

You may not call it this (yet), but you use the tarot to facilitate your journey of individuation, the path of becoming your truest self. And this path is forged through the Archetypes of the Tarot.

Would you love to...

Become fluent in the fundamentals of Jungian depth psychology and the archetypes?

Master archetypal interpretations of all 78 cards of the tarot and easily access their deeper meanings?

Develop an orientation to the cards as a psycho-spiritual roadmap to individuation?

Cultivate confidence and flow in reading archetypally & psychologically for yourself and others?

Grow a knowledge of mysticism, mythology, and other esoteric pathways to enhance your symbolic literacy?

Welcome to the Archetypal Tarot School

The Archetypal Tarot School is a 9-week intermediate level program designed to teach you an archetypal and Jungian depth psychological approach to the cards.

There are 2 things that make this course very special:

1. Many Courses like this only focus on the Major Arcana. This one goes further.

Over 9 weeks, we’ll wind through the labyrinth of all 78 cards, learning their soul-guided messages that support your individuation. We’ll discuss the mystical, depth psychological, and mythological context of each card. And it’s not just about theory, but developing a practice to actually adapt the skill of reading the cards through an archetypal lens.

2. You can do it at your own pace in your own time, while still being part of the course community.

Most courses are structured as either: (1) Live lectures with a set deadlines and course completion date. OR (2) A streaming program that’s flexible but ultimately isolated.

The Archetypal Tarot School bridges the best of both worlds. The lessons are in short, consumable videos that you watch on your own time, but we also will meet for an optional bi-weekly community classroom to discuss, practice, and go deeper.

Plus, it's Designed to guide professional and self-readers alike

Meet your instructor...

Mariana Louis is a professional tarot reader, writer, and educator based in New York City. Her journey with depth psychology began with the discovery of a little book called The Undiscovered Self by Carl Jung in her grandfather’s attic library, which led her to the pivotal decision to pursue a deeper study in mysticism, occultism, and the archetypes. Soon after she discovered the tarot, the Wheel of Fortune spun, and a new fate was forged.

After earning a master’s degree in Western Intellectual Traditions, Mariana launched Persephone’s Sister—a platform for spiritual education and tarot guidance, blending depth psychology, sacred feminism, and witchcraft.

Nope. You will have access to the course for 6 months after it closes, so if you need to go slower, go slower. That being said, it’s still recommend you come to the bi-weekly classrooms, as they will be opportunities not only to discuss, but to process and practice, which is so important.

If you’re a tarot pro, this course is even more for you! This is not an offering for beginners. We’re not discussing keywords or traditional meanings. We are exploring depth psychology, mythology, and mysticism as if we are collegiate scholars. It will be intellectually challenging and spiritually stimulating, so having a thorough knowledge of the tarot is the best place to start.

If the course fills up, a few extra seats may open at a discounted rate. I encourage you to email Mariana directly now if you wish to be considered for that. (Just keep in mind there is no guarantee!) And make sure you’re signed up on the Persephone’s Sister email list for possible announcements.

There will be 5 classroom meetings, happening every other week of the school (and starting the first week). Although the dates and times will vary depending on the students’ schedules, they will most likely be Saturdays or Sundays at 2pm EST. If there are lots of students in various time zones, we’ll likely rotate the times / days to accommodate more people.

But the classrooms are always recorded and the replay will be available the following day for those who can’t attend live.

Yes there is! Click here to access it.

The Archetypal Tarot Course goes deep, but sometimes we need guidance to get to the heart of our personal depths.

With the mentorship program, Mariana will guide you through every step of the process, becoming your tarot coach. In the mentorship program, the Archetypal Tarot School will become a truly immersive and intensive experience.

This course focuses primarily with the classic Rider-Waite-Smith deck, but you do not need to have that specific deck. Any Rider-Waite-Smith based deck works!

And do keep in mind that while this course goes beyond the traditional meanings of the cards, we will not be focusing on other tarot systems (such as the Marseilles or Thoth).
